Hi, I’m renee.
I know what it feels like to be pulled in every direction at once. Most of the parents I work with are trying to hold everything together—careers, kids, relationships—while breaking old family cycles and showing up differently for their own children. On the outside, you look like you’ve got it handled. Inside? You’re exhausted.
Maybe your child’s diagnosis made you start questioning your own patterns. Maybe you’ve caught yourself saying the very things you swore you wouldn’t. Maybe you feel like you’re always “on” for everyone else and somehow lost track of yourself along the way. You want to enjoy your life, set boundaries without guilt, and be present for your family without burning out. You want to break the patterns that don’t serve you, but it feels overwhelming to do it on your own.
If you’re nodding along, you’re in the right place.
why i get it
I’m not just a therapist—I’m a parent too (of Irish twins). I live in a celiac-safe, gluten-free, nuero-spicy home because of my own and my kiddos needs. I know what it’s like to juggle the endless to-do list, volunteer at school and sports events, lead Girl Scouts, and still try to find a moment to breathe. Most days I’m showing up with a messy bun, coffee in hand (iced tea in the other), 80’s love songs in the background (or frequencies- ifykyk), and a podcast queued up for the car line.
I bring all of that real-life perspective into my work with clients. Therapy with me isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being real and finding ways to make life feel lighter.
My Approach
For more than 15 years, I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families across Pennsylvania and New York who are carrying more than they can handle. My style is compassionate, practical, and real—I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to breathe, reflect, and get tools you can actually use.
I specialize in working with parents, professionals, and caregivers navigating the stress of parenting, chronic illness, ADHD, anxiety, and family dynamics. Whether you’re trying to manage the invisible mental load, cope with a diagnosis, or break out of old patterns, I help you untangle what feels overwhelming and find a path forward that feels lighter and more sustainable.
My approach blends family systems, trauma-informed care, and somatic practices with down-to-earth conversations (and a little humor when it’s needed most). Clients often tell me therapy with me feels supportive but also focused—like having someone in your corner who truly sees the big picture and helps you move toward lasting change.
At the heart of my work is this: you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to walk alongside you as you create the balance, boundaries, and peace you’ve been looking for.
